Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Pombry iOS app and pombry.app, provided by Pombry (“Pombry,” “we,” “us”). By downloading or using the app, or by using pombry.app, you agree to these Terms.

Website waitlist

Joining the waitlist on pombry.app is voluntary and free. It does not guarantee access, pricing, or a launch date, and we may change or end the waitlist at any time. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle the email address you provide.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pombry for your own use, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

Eligibility

Pombry is not directed to children under 13, and you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use it.

Your content

You own the notes and content you create in Pombry. On the Free plan that content is stored on your device; you are responsible for keeping your own backups (use Settings → Data & Backup → Export). We claim no ownership over your content.

Acceptable use

Don’t use Pombry to break the law, infringe others’ rights, or attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app or its services.

Premium subscription

Pombry includes a 7-day trial of Premium that requires no payment and does not convert to a paid subscription on its own; when it ends, the app simply drops to the free plan and nothing is charged. If you choose to subscribe, Premium is an auto-renewing subscription sold through Apple: payment is charged to your Apple Account, and the subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings. Pricing is shown in the app before purchase. Capture and the core on-device experience are never paywalled. Refunds are handled by Apple under their App Store policies; Pombry cannot issue them directly.

Pombry Intelligence and Cloud Enhance

Pombry Intelligence can process supported features on your device. If you choose to enable Cloud Enhance, content required for the feature is sent to third-party large language models for processing as described in our Privacy Policy. AI-generated transcriptions, cleanups, briefings, titles, and descriptions are provided for convenience and may be inaccurate. Review important output before relying on it.

Cloud Enhance is subject to reasonable usage and abuse-prevention limits. If an allowance is reached or the service is unavailable, Pombry may use an on-device result instead. Capture and the core on-device experience remain available. Reaching a limit does not automatically upgrade your subscription or create an additional charge.

Disclaimers

Pombry is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. Keep your own backups.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pombry will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the app.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the app evolves. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
